Published on Oct 31, 2020

Garni Meat Market, at 1715 E Washington Blvd. in Pasadena, is hosting another fundraiser on Sunday, November 1, after a successful run last week in support of the Armenia Fund, the largest humanitarian organization serving the needs of the distressed communities in the Republic of Armenia and the Artsakh Republic.

“Dear friends, since we had such a successful fundraiser event last Sunday, WE’RE GOING TO BE DOING IT AGAIN THIS SUNDAY!! Hope to see you all there, same place @garnimeatmarket same time, 12pm-4pm. let’s make it happen for our brothers and sisters back home,” a Garni Meat Market post said on its Facebook page Thursday.

As Garni Meat Market does its part to help those who are affected by the Armenian Conflict, you can order a chicken luleh sandwich and drink between 12 noon and 4 p.m. on Sunday, and all proceeds will be donated to the Armenia Fund.

The Armenia Fund, an independent, non-sectarian 501 (c) (3) non-profit and tax-exempt California corporation , is the designated organization for the collection, management and transfer of funds to Artsakh through Hayastan All-Armenian Fund in Yerevan, Armenia.

Alex Khachoyan opened Garni Meat Market in Pasadena in May 1995, deciding to follow in his father’s footsteps. The business now specializes in providing customers with exceptional quality meats and service. The store offers a range of meat options including beef, chicken, lamb, pork, and veal, among others.

The market also supplies seasonings and marinades that are always made with fresh ingredients to offer an amazing, flavorful experience.

Aside from locally-sponsored events, fundraising also continues at the Armenia Fund online portal, www.armeniafund.org/donate, and at the Armenia Fund office in Glendale. Donations are also accepted by phone at (800) 888-8897.
