Local Pharmacy Adjusts to City Shutdown

Webster’s will remain open, reduce delivery fees

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect the local and national economic landscape, local businesses are also adjusting their daily strategies.  

Webster’s Community Pharmacy announced today that it will continue to keep regular business hours—Monday – Friday 8:30am – 6:00pm, Saturday 8:30am -5:00pm. The Pharmacy will close at 3 p.m.

The store  will continue to offer local delivery service, and fees for local deliveries will be waived for customers who are over 60 years old and those who are deemed to be “high risk.”

For all other local deliveries, Webster’s will reduce its delivery fee from $4.95 to $1.75.

The Post Office at Webster’s Community Pharmacy will operate with adjusted hours. This week’s hours will be Monday – 10:00am – 5:00pm, Tuesday – Friday – 10:00 – 1:00pm and 3:00 – 5:00pm, Saturday – 8:30am – 1:00pm

In an announcement Tuesday, Webster’s said, “As the situation with COVID-19 changes our plans may change as well. We’ll keep you as up to date as possible via email, Facebook and Instagram.”
