Creative Arts Group, a nonprofit art center providing a friendly and nurturing environment for people of all ages, ethnicities and economic backgrounds, will feature stunning gardens located in the foothill communities of Pasadena, La Cañada Flintridge and Sierra Madre during “The Art of the Garden Tour” from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, May 16.
These gardens celebrate the exuberance of spring and the lengthening days spent outdoors drinking in nature’s abundance.
When you join “The Art of the Garden Tour,” you step into a world of vast, graceful landscapes, botanical wonderlands, and beguiling small-scale gardens.
The four distinctive residential landscapes featured in the tour encompass the variety of design and diversity of plant material that comprise the concept of garden.
Majestic redwoods provide shelter for a contemporary house that you will enter as you transition from the west to east side of this property.
A Spanish-style estate is surrounded by more than two acres that include sweeping lawns, multiple areas for outdoor entertaining and a mélange of striking and varied flora.
Large or small, in the hands of talented landscape designers and passionate homeowners, these outdoor spaces elevate and exemplify the art of the garden.
