Despite the Coronavirus pandemic and its lockdown, Pasadena’s popular event venue, NOOR, has kept busy.

Since the onset of the dining restrictions imposed by LA County and the City’s own health department, NOOR had donated over 1,200 meals to the community every Friday until the end of May. Beginning in June, they began participating in the LA County/Pasadena “Great Plates” program, delivering three nutritious meals twice a week to seniors in Pasadena.

NOOR also launched its catering service, “NOORtoGO” and accompanying ordering platform, noortogo.com.  Their catering service stands out because they created a logistical solution to support both their non-profit and corporate clients who are hosting virtual fundraiser galas or scheduling virtual meetings. Not only does their catering platform prepares fresh, gourmet meals, and handcrafted cocktails, it also provides all delivery infrastructures to distribute custom orders to over 300 recipients located at 150 different addresses in a 10-mile radius within a three-hour window.

With an eye on a busy future, the venue has also increased its working operations by an additional 6,000sq ft of space including the next-door storefront space previously occupied by Bodega, to create a new boutique private event space.

The venue, which recently signed a new ten-year lease at the PASEO in Pasadena, also took advantage of the downtime to remodel both their Sofia and Ella ballrooms and is designing new wedding suites and additional office space.

NOOR, which is celebrating its tenth anniversary this month, was also chosen as Pasadena Weekly’s Reader’s Choice for Best Private Event Venue 2020 and The Knot’s Best Of Weddings 2021.

NOOR is located at 300 E Colorado Blvd., Suite 200, Pasadena, CA.  (626) 793 4518. www.NOORevents.comwww.NOORtoGO.com
