Pasadena Senior Center’s The Masters’ Series begins its fall term with “Great Short Stories,” a four-week course presented by longtime Masters Series favorite Beverly Olevin, where stories are brought to life with dramatic readings by professional actors.at 2
The online course begins on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m.
Playwright and theater director Beverly Olevin is one of a few famous writers that have lent their talents to creating inspiring short stories. She is the award-winning author of “The Good Side of Bad” and “The Breath of Juno,” plus numerous non-fiction publications.
Olevin is a speaker for conferences, retreats and learning groups. She was Artist-in-Residence for UCLA Extension, and teaches courses in acting, writing and theatre. Olevin writes and directs plays including “The Manor” at Greystone Mansion, which has been running for 15 years.
