Visit Pasadena, the Pasadena Convention & Visitors Bureau, included the tour on its 2026 Father’s Day list alongside a Rose Bowl Stadium tour, a sparkling wine tasting at The Gamble House, and several Father’s Day weekend concerts and events. Visit Pasadena’s blog describes the walk as a “multi-cultural food walking tour through colorful alleys and secret thru-ways in Old Pasadena” and tells readers the food samples are filling enough that “for most people lunch afterward is not necessary.”
According to Melting Pot Food Tours’ published itinerary on Expedia, participants get seven to eight tastings across five to six stops over the course of the tour. The route includes cafés and restaurants specializing in world cuisine, an olive oil specialty store and a chocolatier. The adult ticket price is listed at $119 on Expedia; Melting Pot Food Tours has not published a separate child price for the June 20–21 weekend dates.

Melting Pot Food Tours’ website describes Old Pasadena as a historic district “once just a sunny haven of bountiful orange groves.” Visit Pasadena’s directory page on the company adds that the tour features Pasadena’s independently owned restaurants, many of them family-run.
Getting to the meeting point does not require a car. The Metro A Line’s Memorial Park Station is one block away, and Pasadena Transit routes 20, 40, 51 and 52 all stop nearby. Visit Pasadena’s directory says guests who ride Metro to the tour receive a $5 discount. Drivers can use the public parking structures near the meeting point, which are generally free for the first 90 minutes, then $3 per additional hour, with a $9 daily maximum. Visit Pasadena recommends comfortable walking shoes and bottled water.
Visit Pasadena’s directory listing notes that the precise meeting spot is sent to ticket-holders at the time of purchase; tour listings on Expedia and Travelocity identify Amara Café at 55 S. Raymond Ave. — on the same block as the Raymond-and-Holly corner — as the gathering point.
Father’s Day weekend is one of the busier weekends on Pasadena’s tourism calendar; Visit Pasadena’s recommendation page lists the food tour as a same-weekend alternative to the Rose Bowl’s Father’s Day Stadium Tour and the Gamble House sparkling wine tasting.
The tour runs both Saturday and Sunday at the same 10:30 a.m. start, giving Pasadena and Altadena residents the option of folding it into either day of the Father’s Day weekend. Advance tickets through the Tripworks link are required.
