The Mt. Lowe Chamber Players will showcase exceptional classical music in a free concert featuring works by Bach, Mozart, and Schubert on Sunday.
The performance will highlight professional musicians from Altadena and surrounding communities, bringing world-class chamber music to local audiences.
The concert will feature a distinguished lineup of musicians performing Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 2, Mozart’s C Major Flute Quartet, and the Andante from Schubert’s String Quartet “Death and the Maiden.”
Performers include accomplished instrumentalists from renowned orchestras such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, LA Chamber Orchestra, and LA Opera.
Audiences can enjoy the performance at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with free admission and parking.
The ensemble brings together talented musicians, including Larry Kaplan (flute), Jonathan Davis (oboe), Irina Voloshina (violin), and other accomplished performers from area symphonies.
As a project of the Fulcrum Arts “EMERGE” fiscal sponsorship program, the Mt. Lowe Chamber Players connect professional musicians with the local community through free public performances.
The group aims to make classical music accessible by presenting concerts at local venues and involving students from public schools in selected programs.
