The evening festivities of Five Acres’ Nashville Nights 36th Annual Golf Classic were a delightful celebration that brought together a little over 200 supporters in a warm and festive atmosphere. Following a day of golf, guests gathered for a cocktail reception that set the tone for an unforgettable night.
As attendees mingled, they were treated to the sounds of live music that echoed the vibrant spirit of Nashville, creating an inviting ambiance. The dinner featured a gourmet feast that showcased Southern-inspired cuisine including Southern Collard Greens with Ham, allowing guests to indulge in delicious flavors while enjoying each other’s company.
The highlight of the evening was the awards ceremony, where participants were recognized for their achievements on the golf course. The excitement continued with a live auction, offering unique items and experiences, all aimed at supporting Five Acres’ mission to help children and families in crisis. Guests were encouraged to embrace the Nashville theme by donning their best cowboy hats and boots, adding to the festive spirit of the night.
Overall, the dinner was not just a meal but a celebration of community and generosity, reinforcing the impact of Five Acres’ work in foster care, adoption, and mental health services. The event successfully combined fun with purpose, ensuring that the evening would be remembered as a significant contribution to the charity’s ongoing efforts.
Since 1888, Five Acres has protected the most vulnerable members of our community: children. Serving more than 6,500 children and family members annually across six counties, Five Acres now strives for permanency—a permanent, loving home—for all children in their care. The three pillars of safety, well-being and permanency provide the framework for its programs and guide the steps as the agency develops even more effective means of caring for children and families in crisis.
