Located at 24 N. Mentor Avenue in Pasadena, The Ice House has entertained over four million people since its founding on September 23, 1960, by Pasadena businessman Willard Chilcott. “Founded in 1960, The Ice House in Pasadena is the oldest still standing comedy club in the US,” confirmed ABC7 News in November 2023. “In that time it has only had three owners.”
The venue has hosted comedy legends including Jerry Seinfeld, Robin Williams, Ellen DeGeneres, Gabriel Iglesias, Joe Rogan, David Letterman and Richard Pryor. Current owner Johnny Buss, co-owner of the Los Angeles Lakers, took over in 2019. “It’s almost like you go back in time entering the building,” Buss said. “David Letterman, Cheech and Chong, Richard Pryor — all of the greats played here at one time.”
LMAOF is a stand-up comedy series produced by OFTV, the streaming service founded by OnlyFans. The series launched in 2022 and has released over 100 episodes as of late 2025, showcasing up-and-coming comedians performing unvetted material with no content restrictions.
“There weren’t any content restrictions,” stated comedian Matt O’Brien. “The only instructions were to ‘be funny,’ which was refreshing.”
Episode 1 featured comedian Matt Rife, who has since become a viral sensation. The series has filmed at multiple international locations including Los Angeles, New York, London and Edinburgh.
