NOOR, one of Pasadena’s most popular private event venues for over a decade, has begun offering al fresco private group dining on its Sofia balcony and outdoor courtyard terrace. Dining options include a customizable Prix fix menu that their guests can enjoy in a relaxed, intimate outdoor setting with fabulous views of Pasadena’s stunning City Hall or within its’ urban garden terrace setting.

Dining in the Sofia balcony also provides amenities, including two high-definition 4K LCD screens and multiple overhead speakers to personalize the dining experience.

“We have designed our outdoor dining experience to cater to large private party luncheons or dinners,” explained manager Robert Shahnazarian. “Our clients can make reservations for parties with a minimum of 10 guests up to 30 guests by visiting our website, noorevents.com.”

The cooler nights now are not a worry: NOOR has two 6,000 volt heaters built into the Sofia balcony ceiling along with free-standing heaters to keep guests comfortable year-round.

According to Shahnazarian, the venue has a strict adherence to the City’s health department safety guidelines to provide a safe venue to host private luncheons or dinner for guests and enjoy a memorable dining experience. Just in time for the holidays, NOOR is now taking reservations for socially-distant company and family holiday dinners.

NOOR also recently launched its’ catering platform, NOORtoGO.com. This robust catering platform handles both catering orders and delivery logistics for clients wishing to host virtual meetings and virtual fundraiser galas.

An optimistic Shahnazarian also said that NOOR had expanded their venue by over 6,000 square-foot by acquiring the space formerly occupied by Bodega Wine Bar and remodeled their ballrooms.

“Our management team collectively decided to find silver linings during the pandemic, and we ultimately decided to bet on the future,” he said. “When we opened ten years ago, our economy was starting to come out of the Great Recession, so we had to adjust our business model to grow our business gradually. This ethos is part of our company culture, and each challenge we face only made us stronger.”

“We have large events booked in our calendar through 2023, so we’re not going anywhere. Shahnazarian also noted that NOOR has just renewed its lease at the PASEO for another ten years. “When we can operate at full capacity, our team will be ready to thrive.”

NOOR requires a reservation for their outdoor private dining experience through their website. Due to demand, five-day advance notice is recommended.

NOOR is located at 300 E. Colorado Blvd., Suite 200, at the PASEO in Pasadena. For more information, call (626) 793-4518 or visit them at their website.
