The event, celebrating the organization’s 15 years, aims to raise funds to provide rapid-response financial assistance to working women facing medical challenges and living at or near the poverty level.
“We are grateful to our sponsors who understand the importance of supporting vulnerable women with medical diagnosis, provide the necessary hope, and help them in their healing process,” Rosetta Henderson, co-president of the organization, said.
Henderson said supporting women with financial aid is essential in each woman’s self-care by allowing them “to be free of anxiety over the potential loss of shelter.”
