Pasadena-Based Nature’s Bakery Hopes To Fill Up Families’ Pantries This Back to School Season

Headquartered in Pasadena, Nature’s Bakery, known for its Fig Bars and other soft-baked snacks, is partnering with Joanna Teplin, star of the hit Netflix series “The Home Edit,” for the continuation of the bakery’s Baked For The Win™ campaign as families gear up for the hectic school season.

“As a mom, I know firsthand how frantic and stressful back to school can be for families, and sometimes you just need a little help to power through the day,” Teplin said. “I’m thrilled to partner with Nature’s Bakery, a brand that supports families and recognizes the challenges parents face from keeping a pantry stocked and organized to finding wholesome snacks the whole family will love, and, even more importantly, encouraging families to embrace positivity and recognize that even the smallest victories are worth celebrating.”

Launched in the spring, Baked For The Win™ was created “to share and celebrate all of life’s little big moments that bring consumers a sense of joy, accomplishment and gratitude,” a Nature’s Bakery statement said.

“Nature’s Bakery is spreading positivity and snacks this back-to-school season with our Baked For The Win™ campaign,” the statement said.

“With Baked For The Win™, we want to promote and celebrate consumers’ little big moments that bring a sense of joy, accomplishment and gratitude.”

To kick off the back-to-school season, the bakery is donating $50,000 to No Kid Hungry, which can help provide 500,000 meals to kids in need. Throughout the month of August, they will be giving away $100 to $250 gift cards for 100 families to use at Nature’s Bakery retailers including Costco, Target, Walmart and Sam’s Club. It is also giving away a $2,500 Elfa pantry makeover to one lucky family this month.

In April, Nature’s Bakery, via Pollfish, conducted an online survey of 1,000 nationally representative parents and saw that an overwhelming majority, or 88 percent, of respondents believe these daily wins, no matter the size, have a big impact on families’ well-being and sense of accomplishment. Nature’s Bakery said it believes that little wins can go a long way to boost your mood and outlook.

With Baked for the Win, Nature’s Bakery aims to spread smiles and restock pantries at a time when families need it the most.

“We’re on a mission to nourish families everywhere,” Vilma Livas, Chief Marketing Officer at Nature’s Bakery, said. “We believe a little inspiration and a positive outlook can go a long way in supporting and enabling families to thrive – one pantry at a time. Everyone deserves better-for-you snacks that taste great and make them feel great during this busy season. By helping households stock up on snacks and celebrate their little wins, we want to support families with a successful kick-off to the school year.”

Nature’s Bakery is encouraging consumers to follow them on Instagram, www.instagram.com/naturesbakery, and on TikTok, @naturesbakery, as they help parents celebrate little big wins with surprise moments including snack, school supplies and grocery gift card giveaways.
