The Summer Pasadena Bead & Design Show returns to the Hilton Pasadena August 5-7. Enjoy the beauty and meaning in design through contemporary handwork, lapidary, art couture, jewelry and bead making arts. Experience a world of handcraft, natural materials, textures, shapes, and colors.
Meet the artists, artisans, and tradespeople -showcasing vast and eclectic displays of new and old, traditional and contemporary, finished pieces and components. From hand printed fabrics, hand sewn clothing, handcrafted beads, and jewelry, to antique beads and ancient finds.
Today, the ability to visualize beauty and meaning in design is intrinsic to contemporary handwork. Through an interlacing of past and present colors, shapes, arabesques, florals, mosaics, and facets, the handmade, personal dimension of bead & design has again been reinvented.
Explore over 300 exhibits and shop from an unrivaled collection –browse fresh, exciting new designs, and take workshops –Pasadena Bead & Design Show is a place for creativity, self expression, and socializing with like minded souls!
Workshops in jewelry making techniques and skills are offered throughout the show. Participants can try their hand at wire work, collage, art clay, chainmaille, and more. Early workshop registration is recommended to reserve your seat.
Show hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 5-7. Tickets are $8 online or $10 at the door.
