The Pasadena Bead & Design Show will transform the Pasadena Convention Center’s two halls from January 17-19, 2025, featuring over 300 exhibits of artisan materials, jewelry, and creative workshops. The three-day event aims to inspire makers, jewelry designers, bead enthusiasts, bohemians, and treasure hunters with unique opportunities for the new year.
Spanning both convention center halls, the marketplace offers a curated selection of artisan materials, gems, and stones, alongside vintage finds and treasures from around the globe. Attendees will discover tribal textiles, lampwork beads, antique embellishments, beautifully crafted jewelry, and artistic clothing while connecting directly with artists and artisans.
The 2025 event emphasizes hands-on learning through workshops and live demonstrations led by experienced artisans. Participants can develop their skills in specialized classes including Swarovski earrings, heirlooms reimagined, bezel set gemstone pendant creation, tube set gemstone ring making, and beaded “butterfly” bracelet design.
Established in 2008, the show celebrates the unique, independent spirit of creators who push boundaries and bring their artistic visions to life. The marketplace has evolved into a vibrant community hub, offering both exclusive wholesale pricing and retail purchasing options for materials ranging from jewelry making to beadwork and textile arts.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the Pasadena Convention Center, 300 E/ Green Street in downtown Pasadena.
Advance tickets are available online for $8, with door admission priced at $10. For more information, visitors can check beadanddesign.com or follow event updates on Twitter and Facebook.
