Knox Presbyterian Church in Pasadena will hold its Easter Sunday service on April 20 at 10 a.m., featuring a celebration of Jesus Christ’s resurrection followed by a community pancake brunch and children’s egg hunt.

The church sanctuary will be adorned with Easter lilies dedicated to the memory and honor of loved ones, creating a festive atmosphere for the congregation.

“We will have a celebratory service on the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ,” a church announcement said.

Following the worship service, attendees are invited to participate in a pancake brunch. Children will have the opportunity to join an egg hunt on the church lawn.

The Easter celebration caps a week of Holy Week events at Knox, including Palm Sunday services on April 13, a Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service on April 17, and a prayer vigil spanning Good Friday and Holy Saturday.

Knox Presbyterian Church is located at 225 South Hill Avenue in Pasadena. The church describes itself as a diverse, intergenerational people of genuine Christian faith who engage the local community and the world as “agents of spiritual and social transformation.”

Regular Sunday worship services are held weekly at 10 a.m.
