Pasadena Community Job Fair to be Held at the Rose Bowl Thursday

Published on Apr 29, 2022

The Rose Bowl Stadium will be hosting a Pasadena Community Job Fair on Thursday, May 5, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering jobs at many local businesses and throughout Southern California.

Over 20 companies and organizations – including the City of Pasadena – are looking for people to employ, and they’ll have representatives at the Job Fair on Thursday to give out job info and application forms. Some would be ready to give applicants a test or an interview on the spot.

District 1 City Councilmember Tyron Hampton, Board Chair of the Pasadena Center Operating Company (PCOC), which manages the Pasadena Convention Center, the Pasadena Civic Auditorium, the Pasadena Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Pasadena Ice Skating Center, said they’re conducting the job fair in partnership with the Foothill Workforce Development Board, which serves employers and job seekers residing, working and doing business in the San Gabriel Valley, and the Rose Bowl Operating Company (RBOC).

“You can find full-time or part-time opportunities,” Hampton said. “Make sure you dress up and bring your resume or updated work history. There are plenty of ways you could grow your career, but the first step is to get out there and see what’s out there. So let’s get back to work, Pasadena. Let’s go get them.”

The list of those sending their hiring staff to the Rose Bowl includes Levy Restaurants, American Golf, Pasadena Convention Center and Ice-Skating Center, Huntington Hospital, Centerplate/Sodexo, Rose Bowl Stadium Guest Services, local hotels such as the Langham Huntington, Westin, Hilton, and Sheraton Hotels; Contemporary Services Corporation, UPS, FEDEX, Home Instead, Transdev/Foothill Transit and First Transit, among others.

They will be looking for drivers and transportation service staff, shipping and cargo workers, security guards and security officers, food and beverage staff, hospitality, healthcare and retail personnel, as well as government personnel.

Job recruiters would recommend bringing multiple copies of your resume to distribute to personnel managers or hiring staff who will be at the job fair. Also, be sure to bring a state-issued photo ID.

Before going to the Pasadena Community Job Fair, applicants are required to pre-register through https://www.eventbrite.com/e/pasadena-community-job-fair-tickets-321035775647.

Business or interview attire is recommended for job seekers.

The event will be in Parking Lot F. You can enter and check in at Gate A, to the left of the Rose Bowl marquee sign.
