Pasadena Law Firm’s Annual Fundraiser Tees Off for Disability Services

Fifth annual Lagerlof Cares Tournament brings community together to support Villa Esperanza Services
Published on Nov 7, 2025

Lagerlof LLP’s fifth annual charitable golf tournament and wine tasting will benefit Villa Esperanza Services, a Pasadena organization that has provided educational and support programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for more than 60 years. The event, scheduled for Friday, November 14, at Brookside Golf Club, offers two participation options: an 18-hole golf tournament featuring food, games, and prizes, or a two-hour wine-tasting experience led by professional sommeliers from Argaux. Both groups will gather for a cocktail and dinner reception.

“Each year, the Lagerlof Cares Tournament brings our community together to support an organization doing life-changing work right here in Pasadena, and we are excited this year to support Villa Esperanza Services,” said Joshua Driskell, managing partner at Lagerlof LLP.

The dual format creates entry points for community members with varying interests and physical abilities, mirroring the mission of this year’s beneficiary organization.

Lagerlof Cares has strategically distributed support across Pasadena’s nonprofit landscape. Previous tournaments have benefited AbilityFirst, Union Station Homeless Services, and the Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena. Last year’s event raised approximately $25,000 for AbilityFirst.
