The “Learn Tarot Cards” workshop, scheduled for Friday, Oct. 3, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., will guide participants ages 16 and older through tarot deck structure and reading techniques for themselves and others.
“You will dissect the structure of a tarot deck and discover the best techniques for reading for yourself and others,” according to the workshop description. “Through guided practice and a bit of playful exploration, you’ll build confidence in your readings and develop a more personal, intuitive approach to the cards.”
The library describes the program as “engaging and accessible,” designed for beginner to intermediate levels as part of their young adult programming efforts.
The workshop represents the library’s commitment to offering alternative forms of self-exploration and community connection for its younger patrons.
Participants can expect hands-on learning that builds both technical knowledge and intuitive confidence with the cards through guided practice sessions.
The Jefferson Branch Library operates Monday through Thursday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and is closed on Fridays and Sundays.
