The Pasadena Public Library will host a high-speed RC racing event designed to engage young people in competitive motorsports activities. The race day aims to provide tweens and teens with an exciting recreational opportunity while fostering community engagement at the library.
The event will take place Saturday, June 28, at 2:00 p.m. at the Jefferson Branch 1500 East Villa Street. Participants will compete in multiple race formats, including time trials and head-to-head battles using RCs.
The library encourages young racers to prepare for an action-packed afternoon of competition. “Get ready to rev your engines and race to victory!” the promotional materials declare. Sign-ups are available online at https://bit.ly/3mqk5Qb.
The Jefferson Branch will serve as the venue for all racing activities. The event specifically targets tweens and teens, providing age-appropriate programming that combines technology and physical activity.
