The Pasadena Senior Center is hosting free legal consultations this month as the organization addresses the aftermath of the Eaton Fire and the mental health challenges of the holiday season. Attorney Geoffrey D. Chin will conduct the sessions, focusing on conservatorship, wills and trusts, estate planning, and durable power of attorney. Appointments are required.

The Pasadena Senior Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit celebrating 65 years of service, is led by Executive Director Akila Gibbs. The organization serves more than 10,000 older adults annually in the San Gabriel Valley.

Despite its name, the center operates independently of the city and is “donor-supported,” with contributions accounting for 64.7% of its revenue in Fiscal Year 2022.

Legal Consultations will run on Thursday, December 4 at 10 a.m. to noon. Pasadena Senior Center, 85 E. Holly St., Pasadena. For more information, call (626) 795-4331 or visit https://www.pasadenaseniorcenter.org/resources/social-services/559-legal-consultations.
