The Pasadena Senior Center will host a patriotic Independence Day Lunch Party on Friday, July 4 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. The event will bring seniors together for a communal celebration of America’s birthday with food, music, and social activities.
The event will feature a classic picnic lunch prepared by community support group Neighborhood Survants, accompanied by live entertainment from the band JJ Jukebox. Attendees can expect “toe-tapping, hand-clapping music” while enjoying their meal, according to promotional materials.
Tickets are priced at $15 for members of the Pasadena Senior Center and $20 for nonmembers. Advance registration is required for all attendees, with organizers emphasizing that tickets will not be available at the door.
Reservations must be secured by July 1, and center officials advise early registration as “this event will sell out.” Online registration is available through the center’s website.
The festive 4th of July party will take place at the Pasadena Senior Center, located at 85 East Holly Street, Pasadena, CA 91103. Additional information can be found on the center’s website at www.pasadenaseniorcenter.
