The submission period for the Gifts & Grants Program of the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts opens Thursday, Oct. 1.
Applications are encouraged by qualifying organizations that provide education and programs including music therapy, music education, scholarships and the underwriting of concerts to all age groups.
The geographical scope of this program extends to nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations within the greater Pasadena area and designated areas of the city of Los Angeles.
As Marybeth Rehman-Dittu, chair of this year’s Gifts & Grants Committee, noted, “The Pasadena Showcase House of Design is ‘more than just a pretty house.’ Our fundraising is dedicated to backing music programs. I am proud to coordinate the effort that continues our vibrant local support, applying funds raised through our annual House tours and recent online auction, Showcase Strong, to this important priority: music in our communities.”
The application period closes on Nov. 15. Awardees will be advised in April.

Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts was created in 1948 to bring the joy of music to children and adults through exposure, education and experience. PSHA has donated over $23 million, as well as countless volunteer hours to the noteworthy programs it produces for over 6,000 elementary school students and musicians ages 16 to 24.
The Gifts & Grants program awards financial support to a diverse list of local nonprofit organizations positioned in the local performing arts community.
