Pasadena Water & Power to Host Free Native Plant Workshop Oct. 25

Pasadena Water & Power, in partnership with the Arroyo Seco Foundation, will host a free public workshop focused on native plants Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Hahamongna Native Plant Nursery, located at 4550 Oak Grove Drive.

The event, titled “Native Plants A to Z Workshop,” will feature noted speaker Leigh Adams, who “will discuss favorite local species and share plant tips and trends,” according to the official event flyer issued by Pasadena Water & Power.

“Join us at for an introductory overview of native plants, their many benefits and how you can transform your landscape!” the flyer states. Attendees will “learn why native plants matter, discover local favorites, and get expert tips and trends.”

“PWP customers will receive a FREE native plant! (Customers must present a copy of their utility bill or show online account on mobile device at time of event),” the flyer states.
