Pasadena’s Historic Ice House Welcomes Comedy’s Biggest Names for Superstar Show

Nikki Glaser, Jeremy Piven and Cristela Alonzo headline December 27 event at legendary venue

Three headline-caliber comedians share a single stage on December 27 at the Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena. Nikki Glaser, Jeremy Piven, and Cristela Alonzo bring star power to a venue that has defined comedy in Southern California for nearly seven decades.

Since its founding in 1960, the Ice House has launched legends—George Carlin, Robin Williams, and Jerry Seinfeld all performed in this intimate room. It remains the oldest continuously operating comedy club in the United States. In October 2019, Lakers co-owner Johnny Buss purchased the historic club and undertook significant renovations. Buss noted that “The Ice House Pasadena is the only club in America to have been running for 64 years and counting!”

Glaser, a Cincinnati native raised in St. Louis, made history by becoming the first woman to solo-host the Golden Globe Awards in January 2025. Jeremy Piven, best known for his three-Emmy-winning role as Ari Gold in “Entourage,” has transitioned into stand-up comedy touring. Cristela Alonzo made history as the first Mexican American woman to create and star in her own primetime comedy series on ABC and later became the first Latina lead voice in a Pixar film with “Cars 3.”

The show begins at 9:00 p.m. in the Legendary Room. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. The event is restricted to patrons 21 and older, with a two-item minimum purchase required per seat. Lineups are subject to change.
