The Pasadena City College Flea Market will host its monthly gathering on Sunday, February 1, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. across the college’s West side parking lots. The beloved community tradition continues its mission to generate scholarship funding for PCC students while offering shoppers a chance to browse over 400 vendors displaying everything from high-end antiques to collectible records.

The market operates monthly on the first Sunday, except January, when the Rose Parade takes precedence. Located in Parking Lots 1, 3, and parking structure 4 at 1570 E. Colorado Blvd., the market has been a fixture in Pasadena since its founding in 1979.

Tom Selinski, co-founder, explained: “In 1979 with my brother, we started the first market here in this lot with vendors that my brother and I went out and hustled at swap meets and flea markets, to come participate here, and to buy a space, and to support students.”

The market’s financial impact has been substantial. The Flea Market currently gives away over $32,000 in scholarships annually to PCC students who have demonstrated exemplary leadership or volunteerism.

Selinski underscores the market’s enduring purpose: “The great thing about this market is that the purpose has always been to support student scholarships and student activities.”

The market features one of Southern California’s best collections of record vendors, with over 50 vendors in the Bonnie Street parking structure offering memorabilia, CDs, and DVDs.

Pasadena City College Flea Market will run on Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Pasadena City College, 1570 E. Colorado Blvd., Pasadena, California. For more information, call (626) 585-7906 or visit https://pasadena.edu/community/flea-market/.
