Here are the Pets of the Week available for adoption at the Pasadena Humane Society this week:
Meet Darwin (A521622), a handsome 3-year-old Siberian Husky who came to Pasadena Humane as a stray and quickly charmed everyone with his sweet, affections nature. He walks well on a leash (though he is strong), enjoys being brushed, and is overall a friendly guy with the people that he meets.
He’s also shown a special love for water, travels well in the car, enjoys thorough attention, and will gently rest his head in your lap when it’s time for a nap. While he’s not big on toys, he’s very treat-motivated and takes them gently. Darwin would do best in a home without small animals, but he’s a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a loving, adventurous dog. From now until July 20th, dogs over 6 months old, like Darwin, will have their adoption fee waived as part of the Hot Dog Summer adoption promotion at Pasadena Humane.
The adoption fee for dogs is $150. All dog adoptions include spay or neuter, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.

Lula (A519739) is a stunning brindle Dutch Shepherd mix at Pasadena Humane with striking blue eyes that will stop you in your tracks. She is nearly two years old and came in as a stray during the Eaton Fire. She has been searching for her forever home ever since!
