Here are the Pets of the Week available for adoption at the Pasadena Humane Society this week:
Meet Edie! Edie (A523679) is a 4-year-old black and tan German Shepherd at Pasadena Humane with the sweetest heart. She’s well-mannered, potty trained, and even knows a few tricks! Her favorite things include squeaky toys, belly rubs, and plenty of attention from her people.
This smart, strong girl loves exploring the yard, chasing lizards and squirrels, and showing off her speed when she plays. She’s also learning leash manners, enjoys lots of car rides, and settles nicely into a crate while in a home setting. She is gentle, calm, and is happiest when hanging out with her humans.

The adoption fee for dogs is $150. All dog adoptions include spay or neuter, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.

Octopus (A523626) is a 3-year-old Rottweiler with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. This handsome guy at Pasadena Humane may look strong and serious, but he’s really a cuddle bug who would much rather soak up pets and attention than just about anything else.
Octopus is easy to leash, walks well, and takes treats ever-so-gently. He’s playful in the Training Yard, curious with toys, and absolutely adores snuggle time. While he’s not a huge fan of new situations (like stairs), a little patience and some hot dogs go a long way in helping him feel comfortable. Once he knows, he can trust you, he’s all in!
