Three-year-old Bowie (A-16713) is a parade superstar! You may remember him from festivities such as the La Cañada Memorial Day Parade, where he walked next to adoptable dog Jordan and simply stole the show. As he passed by, multiple people in the crowd shouted, “Is the husky available for adoption?!” Yes, he is!
With all his fame, you may be surprised to know Bowie is super down-to-earth. He’s silly and expressive, loves going on hikes, enjoys a belly rub or two, and has gotten along great with other dogs he’s met so far. He likes lots of different treats and can even entertain himself with a tennis ball. Bowie might be the coolest yet nicest celeb you’ll meet in the LA area!
This Saturday, June 6th, adopt Bowie for free at Pasadena Humane’s Free Adoption Day, taking place at the Pasadena shelter from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Sweet Candy (A-21680) is ready for her second chance! This lovable 10-year-old Lab/Chow Chow mix may be a senior, but she still enjoys getting out for strolls, sniffing flowers, and making new friends. Candy is a mobile adoption event superstar who loves kids, is easygoing around other dogs, and enjoys being part of the action. With her constantly wagging tail and gentle personality, Candy is sure to bring plenty of love to her new home.
Meet Candy at Pasadena Humane’s Free Adoption Day on Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. and give this deserving senior the fresh start she’s been waiting for!
