Balboa (l) and Sprout (r)

Here are the Pets of the Week available for adoption at the Pasadena Humane Society this week:

If you’re looking for a lap dog, look no further! Eight-year-old Balboa (A479885) absolutely LOVES to cuddle. His ideal day would be spent in your lap or snuggled up next to you on the couch or bed. If you’re working at your desk, a soft blanket at your feet would make him the happiest dog in the world. He’ll even follow you around from room to room, just so he can be near his favorite human all the time. If you want a dog who adores you and wants nothing more than to be by your side (or in your lap), adopt Balboa!

Currently, all adoption fees are waived, made possible by the Spence Family and Capital Group. All dog adoptions include spay or neuter, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.

appointment only.

Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or email.

Five-year-old Sprout (A481322) is truly blossoming (or sprouting, you might say) in her foster home! Although she was a little shy at the shelter, she just needed time to gain some confidence in a calm environment. Her foster human reports that Sprout now enjoys being carried around and will purr non-stop when she’s in someone’s arms. She’ll also do slow blinks (the cat version of a hug) if you call her “baby girl”. Sprout is a true sweetie who will grow into a beautiful flower in a loving home!
