To cap off their 10th anniversary celebration, Pilates of Pasadena (P/oP) is hosting Pilates-A-Thon, a community-wide event to raise money, food and awareness for Union Station Homeless Services in Pasadena.

The fitness studio, which has been named “Best of Pasadena” for several years running, invites the public to join them on Saturday, November 8, for the Pilates-A-Thon taking place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event will be held at Pilates of Pasadena, located at 990 South Arroyo Parkway, Unit 2, in Pasadena.

Pilates-A-Thon participants will begin all activities with a mat warm up session before moving on to a selection of Pilates equipment.

Exercises on apparatus that include the Reformer, the Cadillac and the Wunda Chair will be part of the hour-long routine for a full-body workout.

The cost for participants is $40.

Event attendees are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item.

All food collected, and all funds raised during the event, will go directly to Union Station Homeless Services, a social service agency assisting homeless and low-income individuals in the San Gabriel Valley.

Information to register for the Pilates of Pasadena Pilates-A-Thon will be available on the Pilates of Pasadena website beginning on Saturday, October 18.
