The event, organized by Scopely — the publisher that acquired the Pokémon GO games business from Niantic last year — brings players from around the world to the stadium campus and Brookside Golf Course from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. One-day tickets cost $30. Last year’s event at the same venue drew 48,000 attendees and generated $102.7 million in economic activity across Los Angeles and Pasadena, according to an economic impact study commissioned by Scopely and conducted in partnership with Statista.
New this year is Mega Night, a separately ticketed evening experience that takes place after the main daytime event at Rose Bowl Stadium and Brookside Golf Course. Mega Night add-on tickets cost $20 and require a base event ticket. It is the first time a nighttime event has been offered at Pokémon GO Tour, according to the Pokémon GO website.
Ticket holders on their designated event day will encounter Pokémon from the Kalos region of the game franchise, including several making their debut in Pokémon GO. Citywide gameplay extends throughout Los Angeles and Orange County during event hours for ticket holders, with additional gameplay days available through add-on purchases.
The 2025 edition of Pokémon GO Tour at the Rose Bowl drew 77% of its attendees from outside Los Angeles and 9% from other countries, according to the Scopely-commissioned study. Each visitor spent an average of $929 in the region, with the largest contributions going to accommodation, dining, and transportation. The study reported $22.8 million in tax revenue generated and 746 full-time local jobs supported.
“We remain committed to creating experiences that inspire exploration, connection, and shared joy — proving that when we play together, everyone benefits,” Scopely said in a statement accompanying the economic impact report in November 2025.
Pasadena hotels, restaurants, and retailers near the Rose Bowl saw increased foot traffic during the 2025 event, according to the same report. Players explored both the venue and surrounding areas, including the Arroyo Seco and Old Pasadena, the company said.
Rose Bowl Stadium has implemented a clear bag policy for the event, according to Pokémon GO Hub, a fan news site. Tickets are nonrefundable. Exclusive event merchandise is available by preorder only and must be picked up at the stadium during the buyer’s ticketed day.
Pokémon GO Tour: Kalos – Los Angeles takes place at Rose Bowl Stadium, 1001 Rose Bowl Dr., Pasadena, from February 20 to 22. Event hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. One-day tickets are $30, available at pokemongo.com/gotour. A global companion event for players worldwide is scheduled for February 28 and March 1.
