For one weekend this August, Pasadena will once again become the gathering place for Power Rangers fans from around the world as the official Power Rangers convention, Power Morphicon, returns to the Pasadena Convention Center from Aug. 28 through 30.

Recognized as the official convention dedicated to the enduring Power Rangers franchise, Power Morphicon has grown into the premier gathering celebrating the television series that has entertained generations since its debut in the early 1990s. The three-day convention draws fans from across the United States and around the world, transforming the Pasadena Convention Center into a colorful showcase of nostalgia, collectibles, celebrity appearances and fan creativity.

Visitors can expect a packed schedule featuring autograph sessions, professional photo opportunities, discussion panels, cast reunions and presentations celebrating nearly 30 years of the franchise. More than 200 guests representing almost three decades of Power Rangers history are expected to participate, giving fans the opportunity to meet actors, voice performers, writers, stunt professionals and other creative talent who helped bring the franchise to life. Organizers also continue to announce additional guests leading up to the event, making each year’s convention a unique experience.

Beyond the celebrity appearances, Power Morphicon is a destination for collectors. The convention’s expansive vendor hall showcases what organizers describe as the largest collection of Power Rangers memorabilia in the world, featuring vintage toys, action figures, comics, artwork, apparel, collectibles and exclusive merchandise created especially for the event. Whether searching for a rare collectible or the latest addition to a growing collection, attendees will find plenty to explore throughout the weekend.

Cosplay is another signature attraction, with fans of all ages arriving dressed as their favorite Rangers, villains and characters inspired by both the American Power Rangers series and Japan’s Super Sentai productions. The elaborate costumes create a vibrant atmosphere throughout the convention, providing countless opportunities for photographs and celebrating the creativity of the fan community.

Families, longtime fans and newcomers alike will discover an event designed to be welcoming and interactive. Artist exhibits, fan gatherings and special programming offer visitors multiple ways to immerse themselves in the Power Rangers universe while connecting with enthusiasts from around the world. Attendees planning to make the most of the weekend can also take advantage of advance ticket sales, with full-weekend memberships and single-day passes available.

For Pasadena, the convention represents more than a celebration of a beloved entertainment franchise. Visitors are expected to spend the weekend exploring the city’s restaurants, hotels, shopping districts and attractions, contributing to the lively atmosphere that accompanies one of Southern California’s signature fan events.
