The convention returns to the Pasadena Convention Center for three days beginning Friday, August 28, 2026. Scott Zillner has staged it roughly every two years since 2010, with the exception of 2020. Passes run $85 for the full weekend, $50 for Saturday alone and $25 for Sunday alone, and children under 12 get in free with a paying adult.
The building belongs to the City of Pasadena. It is operated by the Pasadena Center Operating Company, the nonprofit the city formed in 1973 to run the convention center, the Civic Auditorium, Visit Pasadena and the Pasadena Ice Skating Center.
Power Morphicon promotes the event as the official Power Rangers convention, with more than 200 guests representing nearly 30 years of the franchise, fan programming and a large collection of Power Rangers memorabilia. Guests announced in the first two weeks of August include Aaron Toney, Amy Rolle, Dan Woren, Sin Wong, Abraham Rodriguez, Douglas Sloan, Greg Aronowitz, Iris Hampton, Shannon Chandler and Tom Fahn. Kane Kosugi, the Japanese actor known for Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, is making his first appearance at the convention, according to The Tokusatsu Network.
Zillner, who also produces the Pasadena Comic Convention and Toy Show and Robo Toy Fest, took the convention over in 2009 after the original organizer stepped away. “I wanted the show to keep happening,” Zillner told the Pasadena Weekly in 2024, describing why he took it on as a former vendor.
The weekend carries a second draw. “Legend of the White Dragon,” the final screen role of Power Rangers actor Jason David Frank, opens August 28 at the Regal Paseo, a theater the convention describes as across the street. Frank died in November 2022. Its distributor, Well Go USA Entertainment, has promoted the release date as National Power Rangers Day.
