The Pussycat Dolls will make their only Los Angeles tour stop next weekend at West Hollywood Park, headlining a three-day Pride celebration that annually draws hundreds of thousands of people to Santa Monica Boulevard and that begins one week before Pasadena’s own Pride event at City Hall.
WeHo Pride Weekend runs Friday, June 5, through Sunday, June 7, 2026, packing a free street fair, a ticketed music festival, a parade, a Women’s Freedom Festival, a motorcycle-led Dyke March and free concerts on two outdoor stages into 72 hours in and around West Hollywood Park at 647 N. San Vicente Blvd. The weekend caps a WeHo Pride season that began May 22 with a Harvey Milk Day celebration and continued with the WeHo Pride Arts Festival on May 23 and 24, according to city press releases. For San Gabriel Valley residents, the event is now easier to reach than ever: the Metro D Line Extension, which opened May 8, added a station at Wilshire and La Cienega less than a mile from the festivities, and West Hollywood will run free Pride Ride shuttles between that station and the event from 5 p.m. to midnight all three days, according to a City of West Hollywood press release. A separate Pride Ride route will also operate along Santa Monica Boulevard from N. La Brea Avenue to N. Kings Road from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. Friday through Sunday, according to the city.
The free WeHo Pride Street Fair takes place Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7, from noon to 8 p.m. along Santa Monica Boulevard between Hancock Avenue and La Peer Drive. The city announced May 14 that the fair will feature free performances on two stages: the Rainbow Stage at Santa Monica Boulevard and Palm Avenue, presented by Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey P. Horvath, Third District, and the Celebration Stage at Santa Monica Boulevard and N. Robertson Boulevard, according to a city press release. Performers include Meg Stalter, Willa Ford, Cailin Russo, Say Now, Elio, Shaun Ross and more than two dozen other acts.
The ticketed OUTLOUD Music Festival at WeHo Pride runs all three days at West Hollywood Park. The Pussycat Dolls Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt and Ashley Roberts headline alongside British singer Jade and pop artist Ava Max, according to JJLA, the event’s producer. Weekend general admission passes start at $179. The festival will also feature Ashlee Simpson, Confidence Man, FLO, a live DJ set from Melanie C and the Blue Man Group, among others.
Friday night kicks off with a free concert headlined by Ava Max and British artist Jess Glynne, though registration is required and capacity is limited, according to the WeHo Pride website.
The WeHo Pride Parade steps off at noon Sunday, June 7, along Santa Monica Boulevard between Crescent Heights Boulevard and San Vicente Boulevard. The City of West Hollywood and WeHo Pride producer JJLA announced May 29 that television personality and philanthropist Kathy Hilton will serve as the Grand Marshal Icon. Former Los Angeles Rams cheerleaders Quinton Peron and Napoleon Jinnies who made history as the first male cheerleaders in the NFL — along with the current Rams cheerleading squad will serve as Trailblazer Icons, according to a city press release. KTLA 5 will broadcast the parade live on KTLA+ and KTLA.com beginning at noon.
“The OUTLOUD Music Festival at WeHo Pride represents the power of community and the importance of spaces where people feel safe and celebrated,” Jeff Consoletti, founder and CEO of JJLA and executive producer of the OUTLOUD Music Festival, said in a statement released through the city. “As we enter our fifth year of hosting OUTLOUD in West Hollywood, events that foster inclusion and belonging feel more important than ever.”
West Hollywood Mayor John Heilman said in a city statement that the event reinforces the city’s identity. “West Hollywood has long stood at the forefront of LGBTQ+ visibility and celebration, and WeHo Pride reflects the heart of our community,” Heilman said. “Welcoming the Outloud Music Festival back to West Hollywood Park, with a global lineup, reinforces our city’s role as an international destination for Pride.”
West Hollywood, incorporated in 1984, reports that more than 40 percent of its residents identify as LGBTQ+ and that four of five city council members are openly LGBTQ+, according to the city’s website. The city has hosted one of the nation’s largest Pride celebrations for more than four decades.
Two new events join this year’s lineup: Camp OUT!, a sober Pride celebration on Sunday, June 7, and Kaleidoscope: Where Legacy Lives in Color, a program for older LGBTQ+ adults on Thursday, June 11, according to city press releases. The WeHo Pride Pickleball Tournament returns Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14.
Pasadena residents heading to WeHo Pride should plan for major street closures. Santa Monica Boulevard will be closed in both directions from N. La Cienega Boulevard to N. Doheny Drive starting Friday, with closures on that stretch remaining through Monday, June 8, at 7 a.m., according to the city. On Sunday for the parade, the closure expands to stretch from N. Fairfax Avenue to N. Doheny Drive from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., including side streets one block north and south of Santa Monica Boulevard, according to the city’s street closure advisory. Permit parking requirements in West Hollywood will be suspended from 4 p.m. Friday through 7 a.m. Monday, though parking meters will remain in effect. During the Sunday parade, a $20 special event rate applies at four city parking garages: Kings Road, Orange Grove, Queens and Sunset, according to the city’s parking advisory.
For Pasadena and Altadena residents who want to celebrate closer to home, the City of Pasadena will hold its third annual Love, Loud & Proud! Pride celebration on Saturday, June 13, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Pasadena City Hall, 100 N. Garfield Ave. That event is free and family-friendly, featuring drag performances, a live DJ and food trucks.
