Realistic ‘Dinosaurs’ Will Roar Again at the Rose Bowl

Published on Jul 5, 2021

The Rose Bowl in Pasadena will take you through an entirely new and different Jurassic Park experience starting on July 23, when North America’s largest and most realistic dinosaur event comes to the stadium, with a drive-in treat that lets you walk through the Cretaceous, Jurassic and Triassic Periods and experience what it was like to be among huge dinosaurs of all kinds.

Back by popular demand, Jurassic Quest will be at the Rose Bowl up to August 1, and is the only interactive dinosaur event that has over 100 true to life-size animatronic dinosaurs in each of its indoor touring shows – from the very small to the gigantic.

In collaboration with leading paleontologists, the makers of Jurassic Quest have painstakingly replicated each dinosaur in every detail. Whether their prehistoric counterpart had skin that was scaly, had feathers or fur, Jurassic Quest has spared no expense in bringing the dinosaurs to life.

The exhibits also allow future paleontologists to dig up fossils, ride their favorite life-sized dinosaur, enjoy walking dinosaur and baby dinosaur shows, and enjoy a dinosaur-themed playland – in addition to face painting, crafts and much more.

In 2019, Jurassic Quest produced 96 multi-day events in 34 states and Canada, selling over one million tickets. This new drive-thru version of the show features over 70 life-like dinosaurs including the very popular T. Rex, Spinosaurus and Triceratops. From their vehicles, guests can experience them roaring and moving as they drive their way through the tour. Baby dinosaurs will even greet them and bring big smiles to explorers of all ages.

During the drive-thru experience, guests will be guided by an engaging and informative digital audio tour featuring show entertainers and dino wranglers that lasts about an hour. Remember Captain Caleb, Safari Sarah, Dino Dustin, Park Ranger Marty, and Prehistoric Nick? They’ll be back in the parking lot of the landmark stadium to entertain you more.

Guests stay in their cars throughout the tour. Only limited contact is allowed with staff who wear masks, social distance, and follow all state and local guidelines regarding health and safety. All equipment and workstations also undergo regular sanitization throughout the show.

As a memento of the unique experience, all attendees receive a free, safari-style family photo in their vehicles set against a dinosaur backdrop.

Tickets are $49, which covers your vehicle and up to eight people inside it. Larger vehicles, seating nine to 15, will pay $80.

Admission for a larger passenger vehicle, seating nine to 15 people, is $80.

Police, military, medical personnel and first responders save 10 percent off with a valid ID.
