Pasadena Village started a Walk with Ease Program this month which you can join to learn to walk safely and comfortably, motivate yourself to get in shape, and reduce arthritis or other joint pain. The program continues Tuesday, Nov. 22, 9 to 10:30 a.m., through Dec. 6.
According to the Arthritis Foundation, which started the Walk with Ease Program, walking is the central activity of the program but it also includes health education, stretching and strengthening exercises, and motivational strategies.
A certified Walk with Ease program leader will lead the walks, address specific concerns, and offer personalized exercise modifications as needed.
Pasadena Village, a nonprofit organization that helps older adults support each other as they age-in-place, is offering this free seven-week journey to better health.
Join fellow older adults to build the community of support you need to feel great. The program is free for adults ages 55 and above.
To register for Walk with Ease, contact Pasadena Village Office at (626) 765-6037 or email info@pasadenavillage.org.
