Registration for ArtCenter College of Design’s ACX Teens Spring courses is now open, but the deadline for scholarships is on Friday, January  7.

These courses are a great way for students to get involved with artistic skills they’ve always wanted to pursue, such as filmmaking, video game development or fashion design.

ACX, the Art College Extension, offers students, adult learners and practicing professionals a world of possibilities. ACX doesn’t award a degree or certification of completion, but offers a chance to hone skills, build portfolios and enjoy learning within an innovative and challenging environment.

ACX Teens helps students in grades 9 through 12 discover their creative voices and explore a rich art and design curriculum in a college environment. ACX Teens offers more than 65 art and design courses to help you flex and find your creative voice.

Among the courses you can choose from are Advertising, Digital Media, Entertainment Design, Environmental Design, Fashion, Film, Fine Art Media, Gaming, Graphic Design, Illustration, Industrial Design, Photography and Imaging, Product Design, and Transportation Design.

Classes begin on Saturday, February 6 and tuition fees for the 10-weeks of classes are between $300 and $375.
