The Community Room of the South Pasadena Public Library is set to host an exceptional musical event on Sunday, April 19, 2026, as Restoration Concerts presents a captivating performance featuring a unique ensemble of clarinet and strings. This highly anticipated concert will showcase two of the most revered compositions for this instrumental combination: the quintets by Mozart and Brahms. Music enthusiasts are invited to experience an afternoon of classical brilliance, presented by the Restoration Concerts Committee of the Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library.

Clarinetist Joshua Ranz will lead the ensemble, joined by violinists Roger Wilkie and Ana Landauer, violist Connie Kupka, and cellist David Speltz. Ranz, known for his roles as principal clarinet of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and New West Symphony, and bass clarinetist of Pacific Symphony, brings a wealth of experience and artistry to the stage.
