The Rose Bowl Stadium will welcome participants for its sixth annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning, a Pasadena family favorite running from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
The November 28 event encourages participants to “trot before you gobble,” inviting runners to walk, skip or hop along a recreational 5K loop circling the Rose Bowl.
The family-oriented event welcomes children in strollers and dogs, maintaining its status as a cherished Thanksgiving morning tradition for participants of all ages.
Event organizers have designated all entry fees as fully tax-deductible contributions to preserve, protect and enhance the Rose Bowl through its Legacy Foundation, a registered nonprofit organization.
Participants can collect their race materials during early packet pickup on Wednesday, Nov. 27, between noon and 5 p.m., or starting at 7 a.m. on race day.
Race officials allow packet collection on behalf of other participants, provided the collector has the registrant’s name and email information used during registration.
Race organizers will provide water stations throughout the course, though participants are encouraged to bring their own hydration supplies for the morning event.
The venue offers free parking in Lot K, with the race beginning promptly at 8:30 a.m. at the stadium, located at 1001 Rose Bowl Drive.
