Emmy-winning actress Sarah Paulson will host a star-studded charity bingo night on Thursday, June 5 to raise funds for the Pasadena Humane Society’s ongoing rescue and recovery efforts.
Paulson won a 2024 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play for her role in Broadway’s Appropriate.
The fundraising event will help the nonprofit respond to the surge in need created by the Pasadena and Eaton fires, which displaced hundreds of animals requiring emergency care.
“We have taken in over 300 animals due to evacuations and have staff and volunteers working nonstop to help with their care,” the Pasadena Humane Society has said. “We are starting to see many animals coming in with burns and injuries. These animals are being treated in our ICU.”
The benefit event will take place from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Nickey Kehoe Showroom, located at 7266 Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles. Attendees will enjoy several rounds of bingo led by Paulson, with prizes awarded throughout the evening. The grand prize includes a $1,500 gift card to the Nickey Kehoe showroom.
Guests can expect a lively atmosphere featuring performances by musician Walter Molina, gourmet offerings from Jon & Vinny’s, wine selections from Tyler Winery, and desserts curated by Joan’s on Third and NYC Cake Pops. Jon & Vinny’s is recognized in the 2024 MICHELIN Guide USA as a Bib Gourmand restaurant, while Tyler Winery was founded in 2005 by Santa Barbara native Justin Tyler Willett and focuses exclusively on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. All proceeds from ticket sales and activities will go directly to benefit the Pasadena Humane Society.
Tickets for the event are priced at $150, and valet parking will be available for guests. Space is limited, and organizers encourage prompt action for those wishing to support the cause.
