See How the Professionals Do it With a Virtual Reading of ‘The Price’ by Arthur Miller

A Noise Within in Pasadena is presenting a virtual reading of the play, “The Price,” by Arthur Miller, at 6 p.m. Thursday.

After Thursday’s performance, directed by Julia Rodriguez-Elliott, on-demand access to the reading will be available through Sunday.

At 6 p.m. Sunday, the theater will host a live conversation with the artists on Zoom.

Miller’s Tony-nominated play unravels family ties with both poignance and cleverness. When two estranged brothers reunite to settle their father’s estate, they are left to navigate a wily furniture dealer and a psychological battlefield of fractured memories and old-fashioned sibling rivalry. Before the deal is done, the brothers are forced to examine the true cost of their life choices.

There are two ways to watch “The Price.” On the ticket page, www.showtix4u.com/events/anoisewithin, choose “purchase scheduled content” to tune into the live stream while talking in the chat box with fellow audience members, or choose “rent video” to watch on demand starting the same time as the live stream.

The reading will only be available on demand for one weekend following the live stream.

Tickets are available for free, but A Noise Within is asking a suggested donation of $15 for individuals, or $40 for a family.

Your donation goes to pay the artists involved in the readings and to support A Noise Within during these uncertain times.

Viewers can also donate ticket credits by emailing boxoffice@anoisewithin.org.

Sunday’s conversation with the artists gives more people a chance to see the play and join with questions. To get the Zoom link for the event, RSVP through the same email address.
