Sierra Madre seniors have a perfect opportunity to combine fitness with relaxation this Christmas Eve with a free Chair Yoga class hosted by the Sierra Madre Community Services Department.
The class is scheduled for Wednesday, December 24, at 10 a.m. at Hart Park House Senior Center. Chair Yoga is designed specifically for older adults seeking low-impact exercise. According to the program description, “Chair Yoga is a great way to wake up the muscles and relax and calm the mind. Gentle stretching, yoga, balance exercise and relaxation will be included in your experience. All classes are free.”
The regular Chair Yoga program runs every Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Hart Park House Senior Center. Classes may also be held at Memorial Park Covered Pavilion as an alternate location.
