Sierra Madre’s Independence Day celebration heads into its second day of events Monday with the traditional parade.
The parade has been an annual Sierra Madre tradition for over 40 years. Residents line up or prop their chairs along Sierra Madre Blvd., enjoying the small-town charm of the parade.
Before the actual parade, a Women’s Club Pre-Parade begins at 8 a.m. featuring a community open house with continental breakfast at 550 West Sierra Madre Blvd., and live music by Wabash Wailers.
