Sierra Madre Ramps Up for a Down-Home Fourth of July on Monday

Published on Jun 8, 2021

Sierra Madre is getting all geared up for its annual 4th of July Parade, a tradition that has been an integral part of the Sierra Madre community.

This hometown parade features community members, organizations, classic cars, marching bands, kids on their decorated bikes and so much more, a statement from the organizing committee said.

The 2021 #SMStrong Parade takes place on Monday, July 5, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., starting at the corner of Sierra Madre Blvd. and Sunnyside Ave.

The exact route is still to be determined based on Los Angeles County health orders at that time.

Participation is open to everyone – the young and young-at-heart, and everything in between.

Masks must be worn in accordance with the most up-to-date health orders and walking groups must be prepared to have to go mobile if the LA County Health Orders dictate.
