Siouxsie and Iggy Pop are scheduled to perform outside the Rose Bowl Sunday afternoon after a severe weather alert Saturday night forced organizers to halt the ‘Cruel World’ music festival and evacuate the venue before the top acts could complete their sets.
Iggy Pop was already on stage when concert organizer Goldenvoice cut his microphone and told festivalgoers to leave.
Hours later, Goldenvoice announced Pop and Siouxie will return Sunday and that Siouxsie will perform an extended set.
“This will be her only North American performance in 2023,” Goldenvoice said on the Cruel World website.
It was not clear if any other performers who similarly could not perform will be back on stage Sunday.
All Saturday pass types will be allowed access to the venue. Doors were scheduled to open at 5 p.m., the website said.
