Six stand-up comedians with credits spanning the Tonight Show, America’s Got Talent, Comedy Central, and Conan will share a stage Saturday night at the Ice House Comedy Club on Mentor Avenue.

The July 11 show is the latest installment of “New World Disorder,” a monthly comedy series hosted by Francesca Fiorentini at Pasadena’s oldest comedy venue. Fiorentini, a comedian and journalist who hosts The Bitchuation Room podcast, has appeared on MSNBC and served as host of the AJ+ series Newsbroke. The series, which began at the Ice House in early 2025, brings rotating lineups of touring comics to the Playhouse Village neighborhood each month, according to the venue’s event listings.

Joining Fiorentini on the bill are Paul Elia, Laura Peek, Julia Hladkowicz, Fizaa Dosani, and Matt Lieb.

Peek, a Los Angeles-based comic originally from Nashville, made her Tonight Show debut in 2025 and was selected as a “New Face” at the 2022 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. Deadline named her one of its “20 Stand-Ups to Keep an Eye on in 2026,” according to Vivid Seats.

Hladkowicz, a Canadian comedian from Ottawa, appeared on Season 20 of America’s Got Talent, where she received a standing ovation and four yes votes from the judges, according to her website. Her television credits include Comedy Central, HBO, MTV, Conan, PBS, and Kevin Hart’s LOL network.

Elia, an Iraqi-Assyrian comedian and actor from Detroit now based in Los Angeles, co-created the LowKey Comedy Show with Matt Rife. His viral content has amassed more than 250 million views across platforms, according to his website.

Dosani, an Indian-American comedian, actor, and writer based in Los Angeles, created Facial Recognition Comedy in 2017 — a nationally touring stand-up show. Her acting credits include Netflix’s Dear White People, FX’s Snowfall, CBS’s S.W.A.T., and ABC’s How To Get Away With Murder, according to IMDB.

Lieb, a stand-up comedian and co-host of the Bad Hasbara podcast, is married to Fiorentini. The two regularly co-headline shows together. He was named one of the Bay Area’s best comedians by SFist in 2016 and has served as a correspondent on the Emmy-nominated series The Star Wars Show.

Fiorentini has described her approach to comedy as “having fun while we’re talking about important things and not taking ourselves too seriously, which is sort of what the left always gets wrong,” she told Willamette Week in 2021.

The Ice House, which opened in 1960, is considered the oldest comedy club in the country. Originally a folk music venue, it transitioned to stand-up comedy in 1978. Johnny Buss purchased the club in 2019, and it reopened in 2023 following a three-year closure and a $4 million renovation.
