For families looking for an activity that can entertain toddlers, teenagers and parents under one roof, Sky Zone Alhambra is a great option that offers much more than a traditional trampoline park.
The indoor recreation center offers activities for different ages, including slides, a zip line, areas for younger children and attractions geared toward older children and teenagers. For first-time visitors, however, one feature tends to make an immediate impression.
“I think one of the biggest things that surprises the first-time visitors is our slides,” Marketing Manager Kayle Castellanos said in an Aug. 15 interview with Pasadena Now. “Whenever people walk in, that’s kind of the first big attraction that they see.”
Castellanos described the slides as one of the location’s “wow factors,” saying visitors often remark on them when they arrive. She said the variety of activities is intended to give different members of a family something they can enjoy during the same visit.
Younger children have a designated area where they can play away from bigger children, while older children and teenagers can take on larger slides, the zip line and other attractions. The park also has smaller slides for younger children and a Family Slide that allows parents to participate with their children.
“What we want is we want families to just leave like they were able to have fun together and make memories and just be excited to come back again,” Castellanos said.
Birthday celebrations are another major part of the park’s family-focused approach. Castellanos said employees try to make the birthday child feel especially included throughout the celebration. Sky Zone is also running its “Birthday Like a Boss” promotion. Castellanos said the park offers a 100-day pass for the birthday child, providing an opportunity to continue enjoying the park after the party.
Party hosts help families from the beginning of the celebration, assisting with party items, serving food and cutting the cake. Castellanos said the goal is to take care of those details so parents can enjoy the birthday party rather than worry about managing it.
Looking ahead, Castellanos said Sky Zone Alhambra is focusing on membership retention and finding additional ways to make members feel valued. That includes special events, discounts and experiences that provide reasons to return beyond simply getting more jump time.
Castellanos said memberships also offer an option to add a parent, allowing parents to jump with children who may feel more comfortable having them nearby — or simply allowing adults to join the fun themselves.
She thanked families from Alhambra, San Gabriel Valley and surrounding communities for their support and said the park regularly offers events, member activities, birthday celebrations and promotions intended to keep the experience fresh and family-friendly.
Sky Zone Alhambra is open Monday through Thursday from noon to 9 p.m., Friday from noon to 11 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. A standard two-hour single-day pass costs $38.99, with SkySocks required and available for $5; membership options are also available.
