Sierra Madre Playhouse is thrilled to announce the return of their popular series, Stories @ The Playhouse, with their third event titled “LEAP!” taking place on Monday at 7 pm. This one-night-only event features a narrative deep dive into the personal experiences of seven storytellers, who will share critical moments that changed their lives and humorous anecdotes that shaped their perspective.
The event will begin with a special prelude for the first time ever, a dance piece choreographed by Katie Marshall, featuring dancers Krissy Gullen, Boróka Nagy, and Sara Slagle. It promises to set the tone for a night of powerful storytelling and personal reflection.
The seven storytellers of the evening include Michelle Bagnato, Enjoli Isys Ferrari, Rima Freeman, Wendy Hammers, Norman Johnson, Joe Smith, and Carmen Thomas-Paris, each bringing a unique perspective to the theme of “LEAP!” With their personal stories, they will explore the various moments in their lives where they had to take a leap of faith, whether it be starting a new career, moving to a new place, or taking a risk in a relationship.
