The South Pasadena Arts Council opens its annual Give the Gift of Art holiday exhibition and sale at SPARC Centre Gallery, offering original works and handcrafted pieces that invite the community to support local artists during the festive season.
“We look forward to welcoming you and celebrating local creativity. Join us in supporting artists — and give the gift of art this holiday season.”
The exhibition takes place at SPARC Centre Gallery, 1000 Fremont Avenue, Unit 120, with entrance off the rear parking lot, and runs Saturday, December 6, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Thursday, December 11, and Friday, December 12, 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and Saturday, December 13, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Additional viewing is available by appointment.
Watercolors, photographs, ceramics, and letterpress cards headline the variety of works for holiday giving. The roster features Shauneen Bell, Gillian Gough, Val Trimarchi, Cynthia Thiel, Michael Campagna, Kim Lesak, Daniel Peacock, Emily Sandor, Eric Joe, Karen Steen, Shelley Stephens, Ann Cutting, Jennifer Namkoong, and Jeanie Joe—a diverse mix of painters, sculptors, photographers, and illustrators.
