Held at the Creative Arts Group’s campus at 108 N. Baldwin Ave., the event follows the organization’s Annual Art Festival, which took place Nov. 1–2. Admission is typically free, and proceeds from the sale support the group’s art education programs.
The sale will feature student work across a range of disciplines, including ceramics, drawing, painting, jewelry, enameling and mosaic art pieces. Ceramics offerings include hand-built and wheel-thrown pottery from both youth and adult high-fire ceramics classes. Drawing and painting works span various media, including watercolor, oil painting and mixed media, produced in both in-person and online formats. Jewelry pieces are handcrafted by students in jewelry fabrication classes, while decorative enamel work and mosaic art pieces round out the selection.
Creative Arts Group serves more than 2,000 students annually and offers classes for children ages 5–18 and adults. Founded in 1960, the organization emphasizes inclusivity and accessibility, welcoming participants of all ages, ethnicities and economic backgrounds.
In addition to its regular classes, the group offers Clay Experiences—private ceramics sessions for groups of one to four people—on select Wednesday and Saturday afternoons. These two-hour lessons cover either hand-building or wheel-throwing techniques, though Nov. 8 is reserved exclusively for the Student Sale.
